Full Version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac OS. Free post ?

Windows version also for sale, please search. I got this Mac disc and the windows one free with my scanner. This disc contains the full version of Photoshop Elements 8. I understand that you can upgrade from Elements to full Photoshop for cheaper than buying Photoshop alone, so you can save money by buying this, or just use it without upgrading if you prefer (please verify this for yourself before buying).
